Photo: The Twelve Apostles, Cape Town, South Africa
The Twelve Apostles facing the Atlantic Sea is an aspect of the Table Mountain National Park World Heritage Site. For many years I traveled to and from work each day between Hout Bay and the Cape Town City Bowl along the road that follows the contour of Atlantic Sea Board. The scenery was new every morning with the changing moods of the seascape, flora and geological features tempered by the sun, rain, wind and sky. I thought how blessed I was to live under the protection of The Twelve Apostles and Little Lion’s Head. It seemed to be one of those thin places where heaven and earth met.
